Lets talk lingerie! The lingerie as outerwear trend has become increasingly popular, and it hasn't stayed just on the runways. With lingerie brands releasing more wearable pieces to fit with this trend. Honestly I was not a fan of this at all, I am quite a conservative dresser and felt that it didn't fit my style at all, however I've been slowly warming up to it and finally took the plunge. If you were like me and can't imagine ever wearing lingerie outside of your home keep reading to see how I styled two outfits with this piece:
Outfit 1:
Styling a lingerie top as a crop top + high waisted bottoms.
As you guys know I love crop tops and this lingerie top I chose comes very close to resembling a shorter crop top. I absolutely love the print on it and the shape so I decided to keep it minimal and paired it with a pair of high waisted trousers. It's a very sexy look (after all it is lingerie!), but it is wearable and playful. If you want to make it even more playful I would suggest wearing it with a high waisted poofy skirt!

I have to admit that the inspiration for this one came directly form this brand's web page, they styled these two tops in a very similar fashion, so I decided to recreate this look.
This outfit shows how you can even style a lingerie top to look classy and elegant. It is all in the ways that you style it. I think this nude sheer top is so gorgeous and it can be styled in so many different other ways! I didn't take a picture of it, but I actually wore it with a black bra underneath when I went clubbing last week and it was definitely a different style!

So as you can see wearing lingerie doesn't always have to be raunchy and inappropriate, it can also be quite playful and classy. If you are able to look for pieces like these then you will be able to find a style that will suite your tastes, but don't be afraid to try it!
