Review: Clinique Pop Colour Lipstick

If you follow me on social media, then you know that I adore wearing bright lip colors, but I have the driest lips imaginable. No matter what I do or how I care for them they are never fully moisturized, which is why I suffer a bit when I use dark or bright colours on my lips. They always end up flaking and looking very cakey, but I will just take the extra time to remove moisturize and reapply because I just can't stay away from bright colors! Which is why I totally wanted to try out the new Clinique  Pop Colour lipsticks that claim to be pigmented and long lasting while keeping your lips hydrated with ingredientes like Karité and Murumuru shea. There's a good range of colors, but I went for a bright one, of course, and put it to the test to see how well it would work on my dry lips.

The shade 'Poppy Pop' is a bright coral red that looks gorgeous on my pale skin, but would look great on all skin tones. It glides on super smoothly, it feels like applying a lip butter and it feels just as hydrating. I have worn it a couple of times, sometimes for 8+ hours, and it does not dry out my lips at all! I find it transfers quite easily, so you do need to reapply after eating or drinking, but apart from that I am a huge fan! It has become my go to bright lipstick for when I don't want to have to fuss over my lips every hour.  

Si me siguen en redes sociales entonces deben saber que me encanta usar lipstick de colores vivos o fuertes, pero tengo los labios muy resecos. No importa lo que haga o como los cuide nunca estan hidratados, por eso sufro cuando voy a usar colores fuertes. Siempre terminan mis labios viéndose desagradables despues de unas horas, pero igual intento quitar el color, hidratar mis labios y vuelvo a aplicarme el producto porque de verdad me encanta como se ve el look de labios fuertes! Por eso quería probar el nuevo Clinique Pop Colour lipstick que dice ser bien pigmentado y duradero y al mismo tiempo hidratar tus labios.   

 El color 'Poppy Pop' es un rojo coral que se ver divino en mi piel pálida, pero también funciona para muchos otros tonos de piel. Tiene una textura super suave y se siente igual de hidratante que un lip butter. Lo he usado varias veces, hay veces por más de 8+ horas, y no me reseca los labios para nada! Se corre un poco entonces si es necesario volver a aplicarlo despues de comer o tomar, pero aparte de eso me encanta! Se ha convertido en mi lipstick favorito cuando quiero un color vivo.
